Thank you for your prompt reply. As per our previous communication, it is with regret that I must inform you as of this date unfortunately there are insufficient funds available to cover the stated amount ($828.00). As paintings titled “RiffRaff” are of cardinal importance to us, I was left with no option but to engage the services of a competitor; performance and visual artist David Liebe Hart. Mr Hart graciously agreed to take time out of his extensive LA touring schedule to do this commissioned piece for the negotiated charge of exactly $82.80. As a professional courtesy, please peruse a scan of the item linked below (as you can see, Mr Hart included an enhanced likeness of the background model for free). If you wish to renegotiate the amount on the basis that competitors are offering paintings titled “RiffRaff” of similar or greater quality for precisely a tenth of the quoted amount you gave, please be in contact, as we are always keen to purchase spares.
